PHOENICIA, Botrys. Severus Alexander. As Caesar, AD 222. Æ Chalkous (23mm, 8.58 g, 6h). Dated CY 252 (AD 221/2). Bareheaded and cuirassed bust right / Hexastyle temple, containing Astarte standing facing, holding sceptre and aplustre. Rouvier 627 corr. (as Augustus); AUB –; BMC 2. VF, brown patina, with earthen deposits. Very rare.
